ALL LEAGUE INFORMATION
SUNDAY
PAR 3 CHALLENGE: Entering our 11th year, The Par 3 Challenge tees off every Sunday between 2:30-5:15. A.G.C. converts to a par 3 course with weekly prizes for closest to on every hole. Whoever is the closest on any given hole during the season will shoot for a million dollars from 150 yards out. There will be 9 finalist and 1 lucky random winner to shoot for a million dollars!
MONDAY
MOOSE LEAGUE: This is a fun league that runs all day and is a mix of men and women. This is a 9 hole league but most golfers play 18. Plenty of games on the course and this league does not play on the holidays.
MONDAY NIGHT SCRAMBLE: This 2 man scramble has a shotgun start at 6pm. They play 9 holes and alternate between front and back. If you like scrambles this is the one for you!
TUESDAY
SR MEN: a.k.a. Ding-a-Lings.. This 9- hole league shotguns at 9am on the front 9 and the 4th Tuesday of the month plays the back 9. Nice mix of walkers and riders.
P.A. LEAGUE: This is a small group of men that tees off at 4:30. Great fun!
WEDNESDAY
Ladies Golf Association: The purpose of this organization shall be to promote and encourage the game of golf among women of Alpena and the surrounding area, following the rules set forth by the USGA. This league tees off between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and then includes an additional 9 that can be played between 8:00 and 2:30 p.m. This is a fun league that has a mix of walkers and riders with weekly prizes, along with fun tournaments during the season.
G.O.D.: This men’s league tees off at 5:30 PM. This league is a match-play league, shotgun every Wednesday.
THURSDAY
MEN’S ASSOCIATION: 2 different time blocks for this league. The first time block is from 8a.m.-11:30. And the second is from 2:30-5:30 for all men’s association members. This is a 9- hole league, but most golfers play 18 holes with plenty of games out on the course. There is a big scramble at end of the year along with fun tournaments during the season.
