Alpena Golf Club allows you to experience two different styles of golf courses in a single round. The front nine’s personality reflects an authentic 1930’s style design with larger landing areas, mature trees, and smaller greens.

Venture to Alpena’s back nine to play a more contemporary course designed by Warner Bowen. Here you will find longer holes, larger contoured greens and wooded rolling terrain with several ponds.

Alpena Golf Club provides you with a diverse but playable course A few of the memorable holes discussed after rounds are, the challenging 287 yard par 4 fourth hole, the bunker-infested 125 yard par 3 fifth hole, or the picturesque 402 yard par 4 seventeenth hole. This tight hole challenges you to keep your shot between the tall trees, defining each side of the fairway.
